Jack Frost, a wannabe rock star, has been chasing fame for years, often neglecting his wife Gabby and son Charlie in the process. One winter evening, while driving to a big shot's party, Jack has an epiphany - his family is more important than his music career. He turns his car around, but unfortunately, he dies in a blizzard. A year later, Charlie is still grieving and angry. To cope with his emotions, Charlie builds a snowman in the backyard, just like he used to do with his dad. He even puts his dad's old scarf on the snowman, and to his surprise, the snowman comes to life - it's Jack, reincarnated!
